The Road Constellation Story
I have an interest in art and design and one theme that I keep coming back to is the idea of hidden shapes that remind you of something else. The Road Constellation Project started in September 2021. The basic premise is that I take a roadmap or any pattern on the landscape and show what else it could be using three pictures in a 10 second video clip. Usually I post the short videos to my Twitter account @kerbappealhomes but I also sometimes share them on other social media. Most of the initial road constellations are from the London region in Ontario.
I am a retired principal and just a couple months ago I joined a great team: Sutton Group Preferred Realty. One of the reasons that I linked the Road Constellation Project to my Kerb Appeal Homes Twitter account was because it’s a fun way to share with others that now I’m a realtor and I know this region in many ways. If you are starting something new in the middle of a pandemic there aren’t as many ways to connect with people and build momentum. I thought the Road Constellation Project would be a unique way to make some connections.
I urge viewers of this site to search #roadconstellation and follow @kerbappealhomes on Twitter.
I also urge viewers to point out their own road constellations. If warranted, I would be happy to make a video and make a proper attribution for the idea! Send me an email at kerbywaud@gmail.com
